About the role
Darkside is hiring part time Membership & Facility Coordinators. These are the first faces new students see and the people who keep our gym looking its best. Depending on availability, the weekly hours may be shared between more than one person, so partial availability is welcome.
Membership and front desk is the main part of the job. You welcome trial students before class, check in on them after class, and help them choose the membership that fits their goals.
Facility care comes second. While classes are in session, you keep the mats, equipment, locker areas and front desk clean, stocked and ready for the next group.
If you love fitness, enjoy talking with people, and take pride in a well run space, this role is for you.
Membership & front desk
Mainly in the 10 to 15 minutes before and after each class.
- Greet every student and visitor as they walk in, and check members in.
- Welcome trial students: complete their waivers, give a short tour, explain what to expect, and introduce them to the coach.
- Follow up with trial students after class: ask about their experience, answer questions, and walk them through membership options.
- Enroll new members: explain pricing, complete sign up paperwork, and process payment through our system.
- Answer walk in questions about classes, schedules and pricing.
- Keep simple records of trial visits, follow ups and new enrollments.
